We are an ecosystem of people who share the belief that education can make the world a better place.
It all began with a single bracelet in 2006.
After finishing school, founders Marie and Florian travelled through South Africa. During their time in Cape Town, they met a refugee family searching for work to support themselves. The young couple decided to take action and create a product the family could make themselves.
The MON COEUR bracelet was born.
Today, Marie and Florian are no longer the only faces of the organization. More than 40 members have joined the association.
Since then, the Mon Coeur community has continued to grow. Thousands of bracelets and other products have been made and sold to help create positive change.

Here, education is being reimagined, and the talent of each individual comes first. The way people treat one another, getting in touch with one’s own mindset and consciously and positively reprogramming it is an approach that sends ripples through the wider community of South Africa. The points of contact the Inspire Hub creates with the ocean and with how we treat the planet as a whole open up a world for the children that lies right at their feet and yet would remain out of reach without the work of the Hub. Great things always start small – the Inspire Hub is a place for exactly this kind of growth, through a reimagined way of supporting children and young people.
During my stay, I met children who followed my workshop with a fascination, an interest and a presence I have rarely experienced. This encounter alone, with their great thirst for knowledge and their curiosity, was a wonderful inspiration for me.
